Tales of the San Joaquin is a
Christopher Beaver Film that debuted in 2003 in the Tower Theater of
Fresno.The film showcases the once
mighty San Joaquin River, California's second longest river.
It explores the changes in the river that happened after the completion
of the Friant Dam shortly after World War II, where as much as 98% of
the river is diverted to South Valley farms.
